A veteran of 35 years in commercial real estate, Bill formed Income Properties of Raleigh, Inc. in January 1990 as a development, leasing and management firm.
In 1976 while employed as an underwriter with a private mortgage insurance company, Bill was asked to form a corporate real estate department to implement a nationwide expansion of the company’s offices. In the following three years Bill handled the site selection, lease negotiation and build out of 37 locations in major metro areas.
During the period 1980 – 1989 Bill served as regional director of real estate for a national variety store chain and afterward as VP of development with a large NC based regional construction/development company. Concentrating in food anchored retail shopping centers Bill oversaw the development of 11 centers in NC, VA and GA. Since forming Income Properties, Bill has developed 14 food anchored retail centers and six single tenant projects.
Realizing the need to provide quality property/asset management services to our investors Bill grew this division of the company as a compliment to the development arm. The company currently provides third party management and leasing services on over 2 million square feet of retail in NC, SC and VA.
Bill attended Atlantic Christian College and East Carolina University majoring in business and is a licensed real estate broker in NC, SC and VA. He and his wife Madge are the proud parents of three daughters and nine grandchildren.
Jason F. Stowe serves as Vice President of Income Properties of Raleigh, Inc. (“IP”) and is responsible for executing the goals and objectives of each property owner in IPs retail management portfolio consisting of over 2 million square feet in over 30 properties. His team’s responsibilities include overseeing property and construction management contracts, leasing, budget development and acquisition and disposition analysis.
Stowe joined IP in 1995 as a residential leasing agent and moved into property management in 1996 with an investor’s acquisition of two multi-tenant office buildings in Raleigh, NC. As the commercial management portfolio grew, so did his responsibilities.
Stowe is a licensed North Carolina real estate broker and holds the prestigious Certified Property Manager® designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management, where he has held several positions locally including that of President in 2005 and the CPM® of the Year award in 2006. In 2007-2008, he held the national position of Vice President of Region 13. Stowe continues to be an active board member for IREM locally and nationally.
Stowe is a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University with a degree in Sports Management. While attending, Stowe was a member of the baseball and cross-country teams and served as sports editor for the college newspaper. He is an active member of North Haven Church, a husband and father of three, and an avid long distance runner and baseball enthusiast.
